Nintendo, the Japanese electronics company, is gaining back its popularity among the latest gaming consoles with the Nintendo NX but it still is keeping mum on other details on the upcoming unit.

Decades ago, Nintendo was the leading name in the gaming industry and it can relive those days with the well-kept speculation for the release of its newest product, the Nintendo NX, according to VC Post.

According to Nintendo's president Satoru Iwata, Nintendo's presence is still strong among the gaming system world and he confirms that they are currently in the process of coming up with a game platform with a better and completely new idea which they hide under codename NX.

Iwata also stressed that the Nintendo NX is going to be practically a whole new membership service which surpasses other smart videogame devices and systems.

New developments are being anticipated in June 2015 event called Electronic Entertainment Expo which many gamers await announcements for new games and devices alike, according to Cross Map.

Kyle Lemmon, an analyst for EEDAR video game believes that Nintendo NX is being developed because of Wii U's implied admission that it is not doing well in the market.  Although Nintendo still supports Wii U and another console, 3DS.

Nintendo reports that Wii U, which was released in 2012, sold around 10 million units but statistics say that it is a poor figure compared to other consoles by competitors.  Some say that what boosted the sales is the game "Legend of Zelda," "Mario Kart 8" and the "Smash Bros U."
