Three-season NFL veteran Terrelle Pryor will now lead the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals said May 10 that Pryor will go down in history as the team's fourth quarterback, after completing the weekend's rookie minicamp at the Paul Brown Stadium in the Ohio city.

The 6-foot-four-inch athlete said he is "very excited" about the opportunity and that he recognizes that he "still young for a quarterback" but that he will learn and show his worth as a leader.
The Bengals' offensive coordinator Hue Jackson described Pryor as "a different quarterback" and that he is a good leader who knows "how to rally people."
Jackson, who was Pryor's head coach when he was a rookie with the Oakland Raiders in 2011, also said that the new quarterback has greatly improved throughout the years.
The Bengals said in a May 11 tweet that it also signed John Peters, Kalafitoni Pole, Erick Dargan and Mario Alford as tight end, defensive tackle, defensive end and wide receiver, respectively. Tight end Kevin Brock was released from his contract, according to the tweet.
Now into his fourth season, Pryor had a 3-6 record with seven touchdowns and 11 intercepts. USA Today quoted Pryor as saying that he plans to show Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis that he could help the team and that he "can run this offense."
Pryor is expected to work alongside starting quarterback Andy Dalton.
Despite not having played a regular season since 2013, Bleacher Report described Pryor as "arguably one of the best running quarterbacks in the NFL."
Columnist Scott Polacek went on to write that the new quarterback is "a Wildcat-type player" and is a good back-up for Dalton.
"This could be one of Pryor's last chances to secure a role on an NFL squad. After making several stops and never truly latching on, how he fares with the Bengals will go a long way toward determining his NFL future," Polacek said.
