The minicomputer has built in Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth. By connecting to the Internet and attaching a keyboard and mouse wirelessly, C.H.I.P. functions just like a PC. Moreover, it works with any screen regardless of its size.

"Work in LibreOffice and save your documents to C.H.I.P.'s onboard storage. Surf the web and check your email over wifi. Play games with a bluetooth controller," according to Next Thing Co. in the campaign release.

The specs include 3,000 mAH battery, 4.3" 470px x 272px screen with resistive touch, full super-clicky QWERTY keyboard, rugged injection molded shell, fully open source and GPIO breakouts. It is also removable via hatch.
