At least four people were confirmed dead from the recent quake. Some of the buildings that survived the 7.8 magnitude earthquake on April 25 were flattened.

The new Nepal quake was centered about 83 kms near the Chinese border, between the capital of Kathmandu and Mount Everest, while the second one struck at the southeast of Kodari in Nepal, as reported by the Hindustan Times.

Today's quake was reportedly deeper and was said to have come from a depth of 18.5 kilometers as compared to the April 25 quake, which hit 15 kilometers.

As a result, strong tremors were also felt across Delhi as well as in other parts of north India. Moreover, according to an official of the International Organization for Migration, a number of buildings collapsed in the isolated town of Chautara after today's quake.

IOM Spokesman Paul Dillon said a search and rescue team had already started their search through the little town's wreckage.

Dozens of aid workers, now based in Chautara, are also sending help deeper into the countryside. The area has become the center for humanitarian efforts amid a series of earthquakes in Nepal, according to ABC News.

As of late, deaths from the April 25 quake have reached more than 7,800, with thousands more injured. According to government figures, tens of thousands of houses have been demolished, and assistance is immediately needed for 400,000 families. UN estimated that as many as eight million people were affected by the deadly 7.8 magnitude earthquake two weeks ago.
