Nepal Earthquake Today Epicentred At China; Two New Quakes Kill At Least Four

A massive earthquake of magnitude 7.4 hit Nepal at 7:05 a.m. GMT on Tuesday, May 5, according to the US Geological Survey. This earthquake was followed shortly by another powerful one, of magnitude 6.3, hitting the region less than an hour later.

The Chinese medical team that has been providing medical assistance in Nepal has caught the attention of the United Nations (UN). According to UN Undersecretary General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Valerie Amo, the Chinese medical team in Nepal has been highly efficient in conducting medical operations.
