Justin Bieber, 21, recently admitted in a new interview with Seventeen magazine that he wants a girl who is marriage material, and he may be referring to "The Heart Wants What It Wants" singer Selena Gomez, according to Hollywood Life.

"In a girl, I want someone who's confident in herself and honest. I have to find her very attractive and as someone I can see myself with for the rest of my life," he told the publication.

Many believed that this statement may be a message for Gomez.

Despite his on-and-off relationship with the 22-year-old singer and his close relationship with Kendall Jenner, 19, Bieber reportedly believes that Gomez is still the one he wants to marry in the end, Hollywood Life exclusively learned from an insider.

"Justin always talks about Selena when the topic of marriage comes up. He may hang out with a bunch of different girls like Kendall, Hailey Baldwin, and his Miami babes, but he has said not once, but often that Selena is the only girl he's ever been with who is marriage material," the insider told the Web site, clarifying that Bieber was not dissing the other girls but simply explaining that he and Gomez have a "soulmate" relationship.

Before revealing his preference in the interview, Bieber screamed after the Met Ball on May 4 that Selena looked gorgeous and complimented her all night.

"They've had a bumpy ride, but they have history," the insider said, adding that Selena knows him better than anybody else, except maybe his mother. 

The insider also said that Justin had already spoken to Selena about marriage and kids and that the 21-year-old has never had that kind of conversation with any other girls.

The Seventeen interview came after Bieber recently revealed that he thinks ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez is his "soulmate," reported Mirror. He also shared in the interview that he needs healthy relationships with people he can feel safe with.

Selena and Justin's relationship has not been a perfect one over the years, as it had undergone a series of make-ups and break-ups.
