Exciting news came out for Star Wars fans as Simon Pegg recently revealed that Daniel Craig's character in the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens is a Stormtrooper.

The secret spy's role in the latest film in the franchise has long been speculated even before actor Simon Pegg revealed it by mistake. In a short interview with The Sun during the premiere of his latest movie "Man Up," he accidentally revealed Daniel Craig's role as a Stormtrooper, to the delight of Star Wars fans.

"I was not a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig was a stormtrooper," he remarked.

Simon Pegg immediately realized his mistake and quickly added, "I should not have said that."

Though Simon Pegg has been rumored to play a character in the latest Star Wars movie for quite some time, Daniel Craig's cameo as a Stormtrooper was just revealed in the latter part of last year, in spite of the fact that viewers will never know which Stormtrooper he is playing as his face will be covered throughout the duration of the movie.

One insider shared that it was Daniel Craig, himself who asked for a secret role in Star Wars and teasingly said that fans will have love trying to figure out which Stormtrooper is him.

Meanwhile, the British hunk just recently flew back to London to continue filming for his fourth James Bond movie, "Spectre" after unexpectedly flying to New York to get a knee surgery due to injuring himself doing his many action scenes for the spy film.

Daniel Craig appeared to have fully recovered from his surgery and looked in high spirits as he arrived at London Heathrow Airport three weeks ago.

Latest images that surfaced from "Spectre" saw a stunt double grappling a man while in a helicopter. In Daniel Craig's last guest appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" he told Jimmy Kimmel that he tries to do most of his action scenes as he wants the fans to see that it's actually him who's acting out the scenes.

"I think audiences hopefully appreciate that," the secret Star Wars Stormtrooper said.

The latest James Bond movie, "Spectre," which is set to be released on November 2015, marks Daniel Craig's fourth time playing the Secret Service agent.
