She told the publication that based on her affiliation with various animal rights organizations such as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and on being a vegetarian, she is "a staunch supporter of animal rights." Aside from that, Courtney Stodden is also interested in "helping children with cancer and their families."
Courtney Stodden continued to say that it is a privilege for her to be able to lend herself to causes dear to her heart and reminded people that "animals and children deserve love and attention."
As for her donation, Courtney Stodden revealed that as of now, she is considering multiple charities, though she has not yet decided on which ones to choose.
According to the pornographic film production company, Vivid Entertainment, the same company which released Teen Mom Farrah Abraham's sex video, Courtney Stodden earned US$1 million from her sex tape's release and shared that the blonde bombshell accepted the offer because she decided to donate the money to charity.
Also, just like Farrah Abraham, who pretended that her sex tape with James Deen was leaked, Courtney chose to disguise her X-rated video as a homemade recording meant for her husband.
The sex tape, called "Courtney Uncovered" is just one of the most recent headline-making news about the young reality star. Courney Stodden first shot to fame in 2011, when, at the tender age of 16, she tied the knot with the then 51-year old "The Burrowers" actor, Doug Hutchinson.
In 2013, Courtney Stodden and Hutchinson were reportedly headed for a divorce but reunited in August of 2014. The sex tape star has plans to renew her wedding vows with Hutchinson.
