Verizon Releases LG Lancet Windows Phone For $120 Non-Contract

United States mobile network provider Verizon announces that it will be the new LG Lancet smartphone running on the Windows mobile platform for only $120.
The new LG Lancet Windows smartphone has interesting features like the Advance Calling 1.0 which offers high quality sound when calling with other devices with the same feature.

The smartphone running on the Windows 8.1 operating system has a 4.5-inch LCD display with 854 x 480 resolution according to ZDNet. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.2 GHz processor, 1 gigabyte of RAM and 8 gigabytes of internal storage. For users who demands bigger storage space, the LG Lancet has a microSD slot that can support up to 128 gigabyte.
The smartphones display has Clearblack technology which gives it improve visibility in sunlight. LG also added the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 cover for added durability.
The phone is also equipped with a 2500 mAh battery. It runs the Windows 8.1 operating system and will include the Lumia Denim update. This feature offers Live Folders and one-swipe Action Center and fast texting option with Word Flow. The smartphone also comes with a 30 gigabyte free OneDrive storage subscription.
The smartphone has an 8-megapixel multi-mode rear camera and a 1 megapixel VGA front facing camera as well. Currently, Verizon has several devices that support high-definition Voice Calling but the LG Lancet is the first Windows Phone in the network's offered devices to offer the feature, according to The Verge.
The phone is already XLTE network ready once released starting May 21.
According to eWeek, there are two ways to available the LG Lancet Windows phone through Verizon. First option is to opt-in for a 24-month $5 Verizon Edge payment plant. The second option is to purchase the phone for $120 without contract.
Microsoft and LG has yet to confirm whether the LG Lancet smartphone will support Windows 10 once the operating system will be released later this year.
