iOS 8.3 Jailbreak Extends As Apple Releases New iOS 8.4 Beta

iOS users expecting the jailbreak version of the iOS 8.3 will have to wait a little longer after Apple recently released the third beta version for the upcoming iOS 8.4 operating system to selected developers.

The iOS 8.3 was released in Apr. 8, and since then the jailbreaking community has been working hard to release the jailbreak version of the operating system but no one has been successful. The delay in the release of the jailbreak version of iOS 8.3 can be attributed to the fast response of Apple in patching up any reported bug or loophole in its operating system.

Apple has been vigilant and hasty in releasing patches for any reported vulnerability especially those exposed by the once popular TaiG jailbreak tool, according to Master Herald.

According to iDigital Times, the sluggish development of the jailbroken iOS 8.3 can be attributed to the fact that some notable hackers have decided to left the jailbreak community. The report added that it is still unclear whether someone is working to jailbreak iOS 8.3.

One notable hacker using the handle MuscleNerd recently shared in the social networking site Twitter that Apple has patched 39 security bugs in its iOS platform. This proves to be a major blow to the jailbreak community since hackers rely mostly on exploiting security flaws in order to jailbreak an Apple device.

On the other hand, two prominent groups in the jailbreak community, Pangu and TaiG, has promised to release the jailbreak version of iOS 8.3. Another notorious jailbreaker, Stefan Esser, recently released a YouTube video showing off a jailbroken iOS 8.4 beta 1. To support his claim, Esser ran Cydia on the jailbroken version of the operating system.

On the video, Esser said, "I am delighted to share this video of a proof of concept iOS 8.4-beta 1 jailbreak that I was working. Of course this video will trigger haters."
