"I would get rid of bullying," the 22-year old answered in response to a fan who asked her about the one thing she would want to change in the world. "People are so mean, it's exhausting."
This past month, "The Heart Wants What It Wants" singer was bullied and body-shamed on social media by users who apparently have issues with her new body. The criticisms came after Selena Gomez was photographed in a tiny pink bikini while on vacation in Mexico.
In the photographs she posted on her personal Instagram account, even several of her own followers harshly criticized Selena Gomez and left harsh comments about the gorgeous brunette's weight.
Nevertheless, Selena Gomez made sure to address those who ridiculed her in a different bikini photo, which flaunted her impressive curves.
Selena Gomez captioned it, "I love being happy with me y'all," followed by the hashtag #theresmoretolove.
Despite the haters and mean messages, Selena Gomez made sure to leave her fans with a very important message and that is to be kind to anyone regardless of their stature. She shared that her mom has always reminded her that she's "no bigger or less than anybody," and that she should be kind and treat everyone with respect.
Selena Gomez, who found comfort in the studio working on her fourth album, excitedly revealed that she's about to wrap up her new album. Proudly, she said that this record is her best one yet and assured fans that they would not be disappointed.
