Mindy Project Finds New Home In Hulu

Nothing beats the power of fandoms, the Mindy Project gets picked up by Hulu after being cancelled by Fox.


BuzzFeed said that Hulu has confirmed of the revival of the show nine days after its cancellation.

Mindy Kaling said that she is thrilled that her show would have a new home on Hulu where fans could watch the show.

Craig Erwich, Hulu Head of Content, said that Mindy was loved by members of Hulu and this is just an extension of their relationship.

He added that most of the show's fans tuned in Hulu to catch up on the series. He believes that millions of fans would be eager to find out the next chapter of Mindy's life.

As of to date, there has been no news on the upcoming fourth season, its premiere date or would the show be watched all at ones or in installment.

However, it had already been announced that the show would consist of 26 episodes. The additional seasons of the show would still be decided after the premiere.

According to ENews, that Kaling was optimistic that their fourth season would get picked up. She explained that she was proud of the show and she wouldn't want it done differently.

She said that the show had become a breeding ground for insane talents that people would like to watch.

She also added that the Mindy Project showed a great love story of two people falling in love without shying away from reality which was not common on other shows.

According to IMDB, the Mindy Project features the life of Mindy Lahiri an Ob Gyn doctor balancing her personal and professional life while being surrounded by quirky co-workers in a not-so-big office.

It stars Mindy Kaling, an actress and producer known for shows like The Office, Wreck-It-Ralph and This Is The End.

She is also the author of the book entitled Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns). She has currently lent her voice to Disgust in the movie Inside Out that will be showing in U.S on June 19.
