Despite being released in the same market sagment as Apple iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6, the LG G4 proved that it can shine on its own by providing features that are not available in the two smartphones.
Two of the most noticeable feature of the LG G4 that are not present in either the iPhone 6 and Galaxy S6 is the removable battery and the option to upgrade its storage through the microSD card slot. The microSD card slot proves to be the LG G4's wildcard feature, it gives its users the flexibility to freely upgrade their device's storage instead of paying upfront for the pre-designed storage space of the Galaxy S6 and the iPhone 6.

The LG G4 boasts a 5.5-inch screen on a slightly curved case. The smartphone's design is not at all impressive and comes out very simple if compared to those of Apple and Samsung, according to Express.
However, it is on its hardware and software specifications that the smartphone truly shines. Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop means that it has all the best features the Android OS has to offer while at the same time retains the simplicity of its interface. Additionally, the LG G4 doesn't contain all those bloatware that has been a constant storage problem for Samsung users.
The LG G4's 5.5-inch screen has a 2560 x 1440 Quad HD display. LG also upgraded the phone's rear camera to 16 megapixel which works well for beginners. The camera is also equipped with a top of the line f1.8 aperture lens that would appeal photography enthusiasts, according to GottaBeMobile.
Additional hardware specs include the 6-core Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB of internal memory. The phone has a built-in 32GB internal storage and a microSD slot for expansion. The 16 megapixel rear camera has OIS+ and laser auto-focus technology. The LG G4 also has an 8 megapixel front facing camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth and 4G LTE ready.
The new LG G4 look very similar to its predecessor and LG tried to address this design issue by adding a genuine leather back which gives the smartphone a certain level of class and elegance.
LG has yet to release the official pricing for the LG G4. According to Phandroid, the LG G4 will be officially released for July.
