Deutsche Bank is studying the possible effect on its business if United Kingdom (U.K.) withdraws membership in European Union (E.U.).
A representative for the bank verified that it has established a working group to check at the issue, even though, it is still at an early phase and have not arrived to a decision yet.

CNBC reported that British Prime Minister David Cameron, who is newly re-elected, has assured a referendum on the U.K.'s EU membership until the year 2017. The win for the Conservative Party ruling in general election, almost a couple of weeks ago has increased uncertainty on U.K. E.U. membership, affecting the perspective for the British pound.
Britain's largest bank HSBC informed in April about the economic dangers the U.K. will confront if it exits from the EU, as it disclosed that it was looking into transferring its offices from the country.
According to BBC, Co-founder and Chief Economist Anatole Kaletsky of Gavekal Dragonomics said that U.K. exit from EU will result to a big risk because they rely on capital inflows than any other large economy in the world. Many businesses have encouraged the government to call the referendum sooner instead of later so there will be no uncertainty that could hit the economy.
As one of the world's largest financial centers, any modifications to how major banks run business in the capital city of U.K. could have far-reaching end result.
Mark Carney, Bank of England Governor, explained his voice to the argument last week, stating it was in everybody's interests to solve the issues between U.K. memberships to E.U.
The E.U. zone's second biggest bank Deutsche Bank, on the other hand, has below 9,000 staff in the U.K., where it has been operating since 1873.
The CEO of Land Securities Robert Noel said he did not expect that companies would leave the city if U.K exits EU, which it will be called "Brexit."
