Tang Wusi, a restaurateur, was recently pulled over by the traffic enforcer after for going 120 miles per hour or an equivalent of 75 miles per hours, as he initially thought.
Tang was issued a speed ticket for the 21st time and it was also finally the time the police pointed out that Tang mistakenly interpreted the miles per hour speedometer for the kilometers per hour, according to Daily Mail.

The 43-year-old driver stated that he never drove above the speed limit of 120 kilometer per hour but seemed confused why he has been issued more than 20 speeding tickets for the past two years.
Tang's speedometer of his luxury sedan clocked in at 120 miles per hour but when converted to the standard unit of measurement, it equated to 193 kilometers per hour, way beyond the speed limit.
Tang didn't know that his car, which was bought from the United States, shows miles instead of kilometers. He was surprised when the police pulled him over again and issued him a speeding ticket for violating traffic rules.
"It can't be true, how is that possible?" asked Tang.
The officers rummaged through Tang's record and discovered that twenty speeding tickets have been issued to him since 2013 and his huge fines were still pending for payment.
Two years ago, he was issued two speeding tickets. In 2014, Tang again was given nine speeding tickets.
In 2015, Tang's speeding tickets reached up to 10.
For the record, the most dangerous speed Tang drove was 195 kilometers per hour, more than 60 percent faster compared to China's speed limits.
The restaurateur elucidated that he was perplexed why he kept receiving speeding tickets all the time. Tang also revealed that the speedometer on his three-year-old Lincoln car might be broken as well.
The traffic enforcers were initially confused with how Tang interpreted the speedometer but showed no sympathy when it came to the driver disobeying traffic rules.
Tang was given a fine of 12,600 Yuan ( approximately US$2000), an accumulation of the speeding ticket fines since 2013. Tang's license was also temporarily revoked.
