A news article by GSM Dome earlier this month reports that in the recent months, Chinese smartphone producers are having trouble gaining access to Sony's camera sensors, because the majority of the supply has already been reserved - by Apple.
Another iPhone 6S news leak, which circulated the Web just this week, revealed a plethora of supposed new features - all 11 of them this time.
One of these is features is Force Touch, a feature that enhances user experience by sensing the amount of force exerted on a touchpad and responds accordingly. This will allow the iPhone 6S to distinguish between a light tap and a heavy press. With Force Touch, iPhones could play videos faster depending on the pressure of the tap.
The leaked features also present a possible solution to the infamous iPhone bending issue. Apple plans to use various materials to manufacture the case and internal mechanics of the phone. Apple also plans to use Sapphire cover lens on a limited number of models.
In terms of internal hardware, the new iPhone 6S will have double the RAM, as it increased from 1GB to 2GB, and the latest A9 processor, which, as rumors have it, will be built by Samsung. The 6S also comes with an upgraded 12 megapixel camera, transcending from smartphone to near-DSLR capture quality.
Screen size is expected to remain the same, with the iPhone 6S sporting a 4.7-inch screen, while the 6S plus will be equipped with a 4-inch screen.
Battery life is one of the major issues with iPhone releases. Fortunately, Apple seems willing and able to rectify this with the 6S, as it employs more for battery-related fields.
