EXO Updates: Xiumin Offered Yoo Seung Ho's Brother Movie Role; LAY Gets Treatment For Waist Injury

EXO' member Xiumin is set to make his movie debut, as he has reportedly got an offer to star in a Korean movie. SM Entertainment's rep. has confirmed the news.

"Xiumin has received the offer to star in 'Kim Sun Dal' and he is positively considering it," the rep. said on Tuesday, as quoted by Daily K Pop News. Yoo Seung Ho, who is in great demand ever since his discharge from the mandatory military service in Dec. 2014, has signed on to play the leading role in this upcoming movie.

"Kim Sun Dal" is based on a novel of the same name. According to the report, Xiumin has been offered the role of titular character's younger brother. Seung Ho is playing the titular character, Kim Sun Dal, who heads a fraud gang. If Xiumin agrees to play the role, he will be playing a "sweet nature" character who is part of his elder brother's gang. He aims to become the "ultimate fraud."

The other EXO members who already have some movie experience are D.O. ("Cart"); Chanyeol (Salute D'Amour); SUHO and Baekhyun ("Glory Day") and LAY ("Oh My God"). As previously reported, Lay recently completed the first filming of his first movie. The English title of the film is "Oh My God" and it is produced by Zhang Ziyi.

Meanwhile, Korea Boo reported that EXO member LAY had to seek treatment, just hours before his "Idol's Hug" event on May 19, because of his previous waist injury. Lay, however, did not cancel the event despite his waist injury giving him problems. He was supposed to meet 150 fans at the event that was also going to be streamed online. He reportedly attended the event an hour late.

It was reported earlier this month that Lay had to visit a hospital due to a neck injury that he suffered while filming Chinese variety show "Go Fighting."
