New updates for "Borderlands: The Handsome Collection" have been revealed as new updates will include several patch fixes, new features and many more, specifically for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

According to PlayStationLifeStyle, the new patch from "Borderlands: The Handsome Collection," which was released on May 19 was said to be “very large due to the nature of the performance-improving fixes,” with the download ending at 9GB on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

It is said that Digital Foundry commented on the new update as “remarkable, a genuine game-changer” and “the developer has finally handed in something closely resembling the experience we were hoping for – 1080p60 gameplay on both PS4 and Xbox One.”

As seen in the video above, the new update was able to boosts the game's frame-rates and has eliminated any screen tearing, resulting in a smoother and more consistent gameplay experience.

The Christian Today revealed several features that are available in the new patch for "Borderlands: The Handsome Collection." For the Xbox One, a hot fix now automatically applies before the game loads. The hot fixes are always loaded when the game is loading, and players must connect to the internet to do so.

Players can now have an increased collect radius when multiple items are being picked up in an area, and legendary item drop rates have been improved as well. There are also good changes in stability and game improvements as the update also fixes different in-game graphics issues and inventory glitches. Online multiplayer connectivity has also been upgraded in the Xbox One consoles.

The PS4 consoles will likely have the same updates being applied with several new features. According to Gamespot, the PS4 controller's light bar now changes color based on the the player's weapon elemental effect, and they can now also use the touch pad to navigate the map screen.

It is also said that the update has fixed different controller vibration issues and improved SHIFT connectivity in-game. Gearbox stated that they will also release an update for the "Borderlands: The Presequel" for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and for the PC soon.
