This song reportedly has a "strong beat" and "high tempo." The new song has elements similar to "Fantastic Four" and "Lies." The full-length album is scheduled to release on September 1. More singles from the series are set to release on June 1, July 1, and August 1.

The first song "Loser" is already an award winner. The recent episode of SBS "Inkigayo" saw Big Bang earning their tenth win for the song. It also won the "Triple Crown" on the show. Accepting the award on behalf of the group, Soompi has quoted Taeyang as saying, "Thank you so much for all the love you've given us and our music for the past month."

Big Bang's songs may be climbing the popularity chart and winning awards, but their appearance on "Happy Together 3" got the show its lowest rating in eight years since its revamp. According to All K Pop, the day the idol group was featured on the show recorded a dismal 4.7 percent viewer rating.
