It was announced last year that the Nexus, smartphone from Motorola, and the Nexus 9, slated from HTC, will be launched this year. Now it seems like Google is liking the idea of collaborating with other manufactures, after all. There is a lot of uncertainity over who is going to manufacture the next Nexus Phone. It is being said that LG and Huawei are running for this job.

Instead of collaborating with just one company for a new Nexus smart phone, Google is planning to turn the tables and launch two new smart phones this year. Reportedly, both LG and Huawei will manufacture one Nexus smart phone each, which will be launched in 2015 itself, according to The Christian Post.

This means that the users will see the launch of not one, but two Nexus devices within this year. This is the first time ever that Google is doing a stunt like this, notes The Android Police. This decision was taken keeping in mind the current trend of releasing two handsets. Some examples of this are the the likes of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and the Samsung Galaxy S6, Apple iPhone 6 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus releases.

Taking a look at the details from GSM Arena, the handset which will be manufactured under LG will be called as Angler and will sport a 5.2-inch display, along with a Snap dragon chipset 808 and a 2,700 mAh battery. On the other hand, the device which will be manufactured under Huawei will be more of a phablet end. It will be called as Bullhead and will sport a 5.7-inch display, sporting with a 3,500 mAh battery and a Qualcomm Snap dragon chipset 810.

And if the other rumors are to be believed, the upcoming Nexus 9 will be manufactured under HTC.

No official release date is yet reported for any of these smart phones or phablets though.
