As explained in the video, there are two gameplay modes for the Batmobile in "Batman: Arkham Knight" - Pursuit Mode and Battle Mode. In Pursuit Mode, players can drive the Batmobile in the dark streets of Gotham City, whether exploring different areas in the city or chasing and capturing bad guys off the streets.
In Battle Mode, the Batmobile changes its form and reveals several new weapons such as an anti-tank cannon, mini-guns, missile launchers and many more as Batman becomes a one man army against Arkham Knight's battalion of tanks and air drones.
The footage also showed the game's new "Riddler Challenges," and this time the Dark Knight won't be solving these puzzles alone. Adam Jones, Senior Designer for "Batman: Arkham Knight," said that the new Riddler challenges are both "a race and a puzzle" as the Dark Knight races in a tunnel like course, and along the way, there are many traps and pit falls. Jones further explained that player's must be able to master both speed and maneuverability in order to finish the course. Jody Sargent, Senior Environment Artist said that the inspiration in race course is based on Gotham's underground sewers and pipe lines.
Meanwhile, Screenrant reported that there is also a new seven minute gameplay mission in "Batman: Arkham Knight."
Den Of Geek explained that the new gameplay video sees Batman investigating the whereabouts of Scarecrow as he interrogates one of his men. Batman then goes to China Town and hears a radio conversation involving Scarecrow's men and an unknown lady. As it turns out, the unknown lady is Poison Ivy as Batman saves her from them. He then asked Poison Ivy what is Scarecrow's plans and why is she captured in the first place.
Batman then races to the GCPD headquarters as he fights his way into Arkham Knight's army of tanks. As he reaches GCPD HQ, he is met by Commissioner Gordon in the prison detention level and the gameplay ends.
"Batman: Arkham Knight" will be released in June 23, 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
