Is Beyonce going to be a single lady soon?

Divorce rumors have been swirling around power couple, Beyoncé and Jay-Z. The pop diva's apartment-hunting certainly isn't putting the musings to rest.

Beyonce was spotted checking out a $21.5 million Chelsea penthouse, which is said to be near the building where Katie Holmes resided after her divorce from Tom Cruise.

Jay-Z, the family's decision-maker when it comes to choosing real estate, wasn't with Beyonce when she checked out the apartment.

The exquisite 4,504-square meter pad, located at 520 West 19^th Street, is said to have five bedrooms and five bathrooms, with a scenic view of the city and the Hudson River.  It has a huge terrace which faces the Empire State Building, a massive dining room, two fireplaces and a library.

However, the apartment is miniscule compared to the duo's 8,000-square foot residence in Tribeca, New York, leading people to believe that if Beyonce did acquire the new penthouse, it would just be a temporary home for her and daughter Blue Ivy.

Brokers for the said residence are Wilbur Gonzalez and Adam Taylor of Town Residential. When asked for their input or comments on the said issue, the two refused to say anything.

Rumors of the couple's dire situation were sparked on by a confrontation between Jay-Z and Beyonce's sister Solange. The said fight, which was caught on video, was due to Jay-Z's alleged cheating. Without confirming what the reason for the altercation was, Solange and the couple simply stated that it was a family issue and that they had resolved it like all families do.

Despite taking on Instagram to post photos of familial bliss, separation rumors persist, and insiders continue to claim that the couple are planning to end their marriage after their ongoing "On The Run" concert tour. The tour will conclude on September.
