'Dragon Quest Heroes' Western Release Date Confirmed On October 2015; 'DQH' Collector's Edition And English Trailer Revealed Online [VIDEO]

New updates for Square Enix's new Dragon Quest title, "Dragon Quest Heroes," have been revealed regarding its western release date, collector's edition pack and new launch trailer.

According to GearNuke, Square Enix has confirmed the launch "Dragon Quest Heroes" for the western regions on Oct. 13,2015 in the U.S. and October 15 in Europe. The website previously reported that a rumored western release date of "Dragon Quest Heroes" was first spotted on Twitter by username Wario64, and as it turned out, the rumors became true in the end.

Square Enix also began streaming a new English Dub trailer for "Dragon Quest Heroes" for the PlayStation consoles. Here is the video below:


IGN reported that the western version of "Dragon Quest Heroes" will be divided into three separate packs; The standard edition of "Dragon Quest Heroes" will cost around $59.99, while the Day One edition will be around $99.99 with 11 in-game items such as the Slime sword, Gooey gloves, Squishing Rod, Goomerang and Gungenir.

Lastly, the Collector's Edition will also cost $99.99, with items such as the Slime Plushie, Slime lanyard and Slime keychain. There is also a box cover for the game along with bonus quest items such as the Gold-digger's map and Happy map.

Similar to games like "Hyurule Warriors" and "Dynasty Warriors" game series, "Dragon Quest Heroes" is an action hack-and-slash RPG game that lets players fight through hordes of monsters.
Players assume the roles of new characters Luceus and Aurora. Both heroes are also joined by other characters from the "Dragon Quest" game series such as Kiryl, Alena, Isla, Jessica, Yangus etc. and they can also be playable characters within the game, Polygon reported.

Players will travel to different places in around Erusaze to fight armies of different monsters like ghost, slimes, goblins and cyclops, gain new weeapons and magical abilities and level-up their characters as they save the kingdom of Erusaze from an unknown evil force.

"Dragon Quest Heroes" is developed by Omega Force and published by Square Enix. The Japanese version of the game is currently out in stores for the PS4 and PS3 consoles.
