Kim Kardashian West and husband Kanye reportedly said they want their second child to be a boy.

The 34-year-old "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star who recently announced her second pregnancy, also said that she wants to decorate the room of her new baby in blue.

She and Kanye are planning to find out the sex of their unborn child later this month.

''They want a son," according to a source close to the Armenian beauty.

Kim is bracing for the barrage of criticism that she could possibly face while pregnant. She was bullied about her weight and figure during her pregnancy to North, now 23 months old.

''She doesn't want to be ripped apart again," the source close to the Kardashians told Us Weekly magazine.

At the same time, she was battling pre-eclampsia. The 34-year-old later admitted that the nasty comments regarding her figure hurt her feelings, according to Web site Xpose.ie.

''They really hurt my soul. It changed how I am in public. I've tried to live more of a private life," she said of the comments.

''My body just went crazy. After five months I swore I'd never get pregnant again. I got so huge and it felt like someone had taken over my body,'' she added.

This is probably the reason why she is now hiring a pro to avoid pregnancy health risks and so that her diet is well-maintained. Pre-eclampsia is a high-blood pressure disorder occurring to only 5-8 percent of pregnant women, however doctors say it would likely reoccur. Because of this, Kim K is doing all she can to suffer any serious complications with her second child.

According to TMZ sources, Kardashian has already hired a nutritionist who will provide her with a weekly meal plan. The two main rules of her new diet - drink lots of water and have less sodium intake.

If Kim follows these two key rules, she will avoid pre-eclampsia symptoms such as headaches, swelling as well as changes in vision.

As for the current status of her health, the brunette beauty has revealed she is feeling a bit run down three months into her second pregnancy.

"I have laryngitis, so I'm a little under the weather. I'm definitely going to slow down a lot after this. I have a couple more months at least where I think I'm good to travel," she said.

Earlier this week, Kim has also denied reports claiming that she is carrying twins, reported the International Business Times.

She said that the rumors are "ridiculous." Being the most vocal of the Kardashian clan about Caitlyn Jenner coming out in public, when asked how she would have her children address Caitlyn in the future, she said, "I don't know... we haven't thought about that yet."
