Good news gaming fans as the launch date for "Red Dead Redemption 2" has been revealed, along with new game details.

Ecuminical News reported that a disgruntled employee from Rockstar Games allegedly revealed several potential details for "Red Dead Redemption 2," through Reddit.

The employee revealed that the official name of the sequel is called "Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West" and the game's events will take place twelve years before the original game was introduced.

The anonymous employee further adds that the game will incorportare a new "Gang System" similar to the "Grand Theft Auto" series, wherein players can join different gangs throughout the region and even help law enforcement. Players can recruit for up to 4-8 players in a co-op style gameplay, WCCFTech.com reported.

It is said that although Rockstar Games did not make any kind of statement regarding the leaked information, the game company recently posted a job offer for a new network programmer fueling the speculations that the disgruntled employee's claims on "Red Dead Redemption 2" could be true.

CrossMaps previosuly reported that Rockstar Games admitted that they are currently developing "Red Dead Redemption 2" this year and gaming fans will expect something new from the game soon.

Rockstar Games followed it up with a statement in their Asked & Answered post saying that they are happy about the fans' expectations for the game and told them to "stay tuned" for upcoming details this year.

Strauss Zenick, CEO of Rockstar Games, stated back in 2014 that "Red Dead Redemption" will become a permanent game franchise, but he also fears that gamers will eventually loose interest on sequels as they want something "better not more."

MoviePilot claimed that Jack Marston's son will star in "Red Dead Redemption 2," but since the sequel will act as a prequel before the first game, it is unlikely to happen. CrossMaps hinted that James Marston himself could be the main hero in the sequel and other characters that are rumored to be included in the game are Irish and Seth.

As for the launch date, CrossMaps reported that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will launch on November 2015 for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles; however, KDramaStars reportedly claimed that the sequel will be tentatively set on October 2016.
