South Korea's renowned star, Lee Min Ho, has been confirmed to star in the international action film, "Bounty Hunters." Starhaus Entertainment, Lee Min Ho's agency has confirmed the news on June 8 in a report by Soompi.

"Bounty Hunters," the film's working title, will be directed by Shin Tae Ra, who is known for his work in the film of 2009, "My Girlfriend is an Agent." The great thing about the film is that other production companies in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Korea will be co-producing the film. These Asian production companies are allegedly Harmony Entertainment and Pegasus Motion Pictures. Both will be working along with Lee Min Ho's agency, Starhaus Entertainment Production.

The Lee Min Ho-starring film has reportedly a budget of 35 billion won, which is approximately $31 million dollars. So what exactly is the film all about? Reports claim "The Heirs" star will be playing the role of a skilled bounty hunter, who is well-versed in martial arts.

Of course, given it is Lee Min Ho, the character is eccentric and not to mention good-looking. Joining Lee Min Ho in the film is said to be a top star from China.

"Top-tier Chinese actresses are in line to be the heroine of the film," said Star House Entertainment in a report by Yonhap News.

The film, which is not only action but also comedy and drama, will start filming in August. "Bounty Hunters" will be slated for release in the year 2016. Lee Min Ho was particularly eyed for the role in "Bounty Hunters" due to his action abilities and skills which were pro-actively shown in the film "Gangnam 1970" and the series "City Hunter."

As to locations where the international film will be shot, additional reports state it would be filmed across Asia. These places would include Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, and China.

Aside from the action film, Lee Min Ho is still considering to star in a number of television dramas in South Korea. His last television series was in the year 2013, "The Heirs" where he starred alongside Park Shin Hye, whom he reportedly dated briefly during and after the series had ended.
