Gamespot further adds that several gaming fans speculated that EA Games might possibly showcase more about "Mirror's Edge" at the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo next week at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The game's developer DICE assured fans that they are working on "Mirror's Edge 2" in a number areas such as more fluid combat, new parkour moves, broader move set, enhanced graphics and visual effects.
The first "Mirror's Edge" game was heavily focused on its parkour and free-running elements, but have met with slighly dissappointing issues such as combat system and free roaming explorations.
Since then, DICE has been working diligently to improved these said flaws and make the game more interactive and exciting than its predecessor. DICE and EA Games managed to reveal the first teaser of "Mirror's Edge 2," two years ago at E3 2013.
In other news, the release date for "Mirror's Edge 2" has been reportedly revealed online.
According to Youth Health, "Mirror's Edge 2" is set to be released on April 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles while it was previously reported that EA Games will launch several video game titles such as "Mirror's Edge 2," "Mass Effect 4," "Star Wars: Battlefront" and a new "Need For Speed" title next year.
Polygon, on the other hand, previously reported that Sara Janson, Senior producer for "Mirror's Edge 2," stated that the game is doing well in terms of development and DICE is working much harder in improving the sequel to be showcased in upcoming video game events for the gaming fans.
The first "Mirror's Edge" game was first launch back in 2009 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Gaming fans will be eager to see how EA Games and DICE improved when they reveal more about "Mirror's Edge 2" at the E3 2015 next week.
