Gaming fans could finally have reason to rejoice as Capcom has announced that it will be releasing a revamped version of the "Mega Man Legacy Collection" this summer season. The fans will get to see remakes of the original games, as well as new options.

According to iSchoolGuide, Capcom has announced that it will be releasing a revamped version of the "Mega Man Legacy Collection." Comprising of games that were introduced sometime ago, the "Mega Man Legacy Collection" is a prized possession for die-hard gamers. In the new version to be introduced in the upcoming summer season, Capcom is hoping to revive the popularity of the "Mega man Legacy Collection" by introducing a re-mastered version of the games.

In the new version, gamers will get access to the six original games that have been tweaked to suit the tastes of the modern day gaming fans. Additionally, Capcom has also announced that it will be introducing new games as part of this collection, to entice the new gamers.

Hardcore Gamer confirms that the new collection has been announced for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and computer systems. In a statement issued to the media, Capcom said that the entire purpose of this initiative was to introduce the loyal fans of the "Mega Man Legacy Collection" to its revamped version and at the same time show the new gamers what made this collection so iconic; however, this launch is extremely crucial for Capcom. Of late, the company has been under the line of fire from gaming fans for several reasons. The once mighty gaming house is finding it difficult to maintain its lead as long-time fans seem quite disappointed with the company's latest offerings.

The last time the "Mega Man Collection" hit headlines is when it was launched for PlayStation 2 and GameCube, where the company also launched an anniversary edition that bombed but was not able to impress the gaming fans.

"Mega Man" was originally developed and published way back in the year 1987. The game is also known as Rockman in Japan and continues to enjoy a loyal fan following amidst gamers.
