In a tweet by Johan Andersson, the lead developer of DICE who is currently working on the Frostbite engine, the external audience got the very first glimpse of the new graphics card being developed by Advanced Micro Devices.
Some time ago, it was rumored that AMD is aggressively working on the development of a new graphics card to give the users a better and more interactive interface. Tentatively named as the R9 390X, this card is rumored to have 4 x 1 GB of high-bandwidth memory (HBM) and a unique water cooling feature that helps in increasing the overall efficiency.

According to Gearnuke, Frostbite engines are compatible with AMD Graphic Cards and Andersson seemed to be quite impressed with the functionality of the new graphics card introduced by AMD. In his tweet, Andersson also showed the picture of this new equipment, as confirmed on MaximumPC.
Frostbite was the first engine that was compatible with AMD's low level graphics card, and since Andersson has been closely associated to AMD through various projects, tech geeks have no reason to doubt his tweet.
It can be noted that Andersson is also the principal architect of the Frostbite engine. These details surely increase the credibility of his tweet for the external audience.
The rumors about the development of a new graphics card were strong since AMD had already announced that it would officially reveal the newest Radeon flagship graphics card in this quarter itself. As of now, the tech analysts are speculating that AMD would indeed make an official announcement at Computex in the initial phase of June or they may choose to extent the unveiling of the news at E3's maiden PC Gaming Show. Apart from this tweet, the company has also began to release a few teasers that have the audience eagerly waiting for the upcoming graphics card.
The highpoint of this new graphics card is expected to be its reduced size and increased bandwidth. Thanks to the reduction in size, accommodating the card with the regular system set-up will become easier.
It is said that the users will also get to enjoy an increased bandwidth at a relatively lower power consumption.
