"Potterheads" who have hoped of receiving a letter of admission from the school of witchcraft and wizardry might as well expect to receive it from two places, namely the UK or the US. New reports claim that the renowned "Harry Potter" author claims that there is an American version of Hogwarts.

On Twitter, Rowling dropped a huge hint stating that there could be a Hogwarts in the US. Yet, her tweet didn't entirely suggest that it was an actual Hogwarts school. So what exactly is it?

"That information will be revealed in due course," tweeted Rowling. This tweet was then followed up by a series of cryptic tweets.

For one, there is no confirmed American version of Hogwarts. Two, the said US version of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry won't be found in New York - as some rumors claim it would be. Three, the school would be featured in the film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."

The school according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter will "be founded on the principles of Native American culture" and will have an "immigrant" element. As for those who have only heard of the film "Fantastic Beasts," it is just one of the many books written by Rowling which links to the magical world of Harry Potter.

Of course, "Fantastic Beasts" happens way before the Boy Who Lived. "Fantastic Beasts" follows the tale of Newt Scamander, who will be portrayed by none other than Eddie Redmayne. The book is set 70 years before the Dark Lord and the Boy Who Lived. Newt, a magizoologist and Hogwarts alumni, heads out to New York in this magical adventure.

"Eddie is a fearless actor, brimming with invention, wit and humanity," shared Yates in a report by Entertainment Weekly, with regards to Redmayne's casting as Newt. "I couldn't be more excited about the prospect of working with him as we start this new adventure in J.K. Rowling's wonderful world, and I know she feels the same way."

David Yates, "Harry Potter" veteran, will be directing the film with the screenplay written by Rowling herself. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is set for release on Nov. 18, 2016.
