Capcom has launched the first trailer for "Resident Evil 0 HD," which gives fans a glimpse of how good the remastered version seems. "Resident Evil 0 HD" uses widescreen support and the choice to use a "modernized" control setup. In terms of plot, "Resident Evil 0 HD" is set before the events of the "Resident Evil" which Capcom remade.

Gear Nuke reported that the game shows prisoner on death row Billy Coen and Rebecca Chambers. The two should cooperate and work together to survive a virus that has led to a zombie attack. Gamers can shift between the two characters at any time they want, which is called "partner zapping." Each character has their unique skills and gamers can play with them separately to cover more area when exploring or control the two characters simultaneously.
Games Radar, on the other hand, reported that the plot of "Resident Evil 0 HD" takes gamers way back 17 years ago. Speculations have been circulating about strange murders outside Raccoon City. The Special Forces division S.T.A.R.S sends their Bravo Team to investigate, with a newbie cop Rebecca Chambers. The team's helicopter had an engine problem and is forced to make an emergency landing, where they see an overturned prisoner transport vehicle.
It is further explained that the team split-up to search the entire area, Rebecca saw the Ecliptic Express, a train dead on its tracks, where she met ex-Navy lieutenant and death row convict Billy Coen. In the game, gamers will be in control of both Billy and Rebecca, changing between both characters. Knowing the advantages of each character will be the secret to winning the battle, said reports.
The HD remaster will gorgeously feature upgraded HD sounds and visuals, with an optional unpdated control scheme and 16:9 or classic 4:3 ratio.
Gear Nuke reported that "Resident Evil 0 HD" was only available on Nintendo platforms. It was launched for Gamecube in 2002 and Nintendo Wii in 2009. The "Resident Evil 0" remastered was released in April this year with the support of a green herb and three Japanese men.
"Resident Evil 0 HD" debuts in early 2016 for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. Capcom will also release more HD remasters and study possible development in the future.
