(Photo : Reuters) Nexus 5 2015 is again in the news as its release date is getting closer and closer.
For all those looking forward to buy the Nexus 6 but stalling due to its price, Motorola recently dropped the prices of the flagship phone with a $150 discount. From a retail price of $649, the phone is now reportedly available for $550.
Also, according to reports, the company has decreased the price because they are planning to launch the Nexus 5 2015 soon. It is said that they are slashing the price of the other competing devices in order to create a market for the new device; however, this offer is only valid until June 23, 2015, according to Ecumenical. The tech giant is putting up both Nexus 6 models on a $150 discount, with the device being offered in Cloud White and Midnight Blue colors.

Meanwhile, all customers who own a credit account with Motorola can avail this device for merely $28 per month, and pay the full amount over a period of 18 months, International Business Times reported. It is said that if the customers avail this scheme, they can use a double advantage and buy the phone at a really low cost.
Nexus 6 is packed with amazing features like a 2.7 GHz Snapdragon processor with quad core Qualcomm processor. It also comes equipped with a 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 420 GPU with a 3,220 mAh battery capacity and a built-in storage space of 32GB or 64GB. In addition to this, it also supports 4G/LTE data connectivity. The Nexus 6, with high resolution rear and front cameras, is reportedly one of the best smartphones in the market currently.
There is no explanation about the sudden price slash for Nexus 6, but this is said to hint about the launch of a new device. It is pretty customary to put the current flagship device on a heavy discount before launching the new flagship device as a win-win situation, said reports.
The upcoming Nexus 5 2015 will reportedly be equipped with fingerprint sensor, better battery backup and a better processor, GSM Arena reported.
