Good news gaming fans as new updates for "Destiny: The Taken King" have been revealed as Bungie explains new sub-classes, gameplay, weapons and armor within the game.

Gamerant reported that Bungie has shared new game details regarding "Destiny: The Taken King" from its new storyline to new weapons and abilities. According to Bungie, "Destiny: The Taken King" will focus on Guardians facing a new enemy named Oryx, as he has a mass of dark army called the "Taken" and plans his revenge on them for killing his son during a previous quest in the game.

Bungie also revealed that in order to defeat Oryx and the Taken, the Guardians must find and learn new abilities to beat them.

Gamezone reported that these new sub-class abilities in "Destiny: The Taken King" includes the "Sunbreaker" for the Titan, the "Nightstalker" for the Hunter and the "Stormcaller" for the Warlock.

The Sunbreaker enables Titans to use a hammer with solar abilties equivalent of the sun, which causes powerful and crippling damages to enemy units, and increases a player's defensive capabilities.

The Nightstalker enables the Hunter class to summon a void bow and arrow to strike enemies at long range. It also enables player's to bind multiple enemies in a single area using Void powers.

The Stormcaller for the Warlock can summon lightning to attack enemies from both melee and long range.

Aside from the new subclasses, Bungie revealed 20 new weapons and armors within "Destiny: The Taken King."

Lastly, Bungie revealed two game modes for "Destiny: The Taken King" called Rift and Mayhem. Rift is an objective based game mode wherein each team must find the spark at the center of the map and fight there way to the opposing teams base. Mayhem, on the other hand, is a flat out chaos and gives each team faster recharges, greater special and heavy ammo recharge and a faster respawn time, Express reported.

Other game details for "Destiny: The Taken King" includes new story missions, PvP maps, raids, story missions and more.

"Destiny: The Taken King" will be available on Sept. 15, 2015 for the PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
