As seen in video, the new "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailer starts off with a young Master Xehanort and Eraqus playing chess as the Xehanort began telling the story of the legendary Keyblade war while Eraqus points out that it was their master's favorite story.
The scene shifts to Sora, "Kingdom Hearts" protagonist, fighting waves of heartless monsters on Mount Olympus showcasing his new keyblade abilites within "Kingdom Hearts 3." Sora's keyblade can now utilize different transformations during the trailer like twin pistols and a rocket launcher. Sora also has the ability to summon trains, a pegasus chariot and giant tea cups during battles.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" director Tetsuya Nomura promised fans that Sora has changed into a completely character showing a sense of maturity along with the game's evolving combat mechanics and storyline, Gamespot reported.
The trailer also sees a new boss battle as Sora battles the Rock Titan from the "Hercules" the movie. AnimeNewsNetwork reported that one of the new worlds shown in the trailer is from the movie "Tangled," signifying that Sora, Goofy and Donald will meet Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder sometime in the game.
Several news sites have reported that other Disney worlds are being added in "Kingdom Hearts 3" such as "Frozen," "Wreck-it Ralph" and "Big Hero 6," just to name a few. Now that "Tangled" is added to the game, fans are eager to see more iconic Disney characters and worlds very soon.
It was previously reported that new "Final Fantasy" characters are also added in the game such as Snow Viliers, Zidane, Rinoa Heartily and many more.
Nomura has said that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will conclude the central conflict of the first two games, but not the series itself because "one particular enemy they have been fighting that past 10 years will come to an end," The Verge Reported.
Square Enix will promise to reveal more details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" at D23 Expo on November 2015.
