These days where the MERS or Middle East Respiratory Syndrome serves as a culprit to people who may be infected by merely having close contact with the infected individual through its virus particles. The wearing of masks for the disease will help prevent the spread of the virus. What better prevention can be done to avoid the virus from spreading fast? The wearing of facial mask should do the trick. That is why the purchase of facial masks has also been the disease by people who want to be protected. Facial masks are of big help for individuals especially the ones who live in the same area of origin of the affected person.
Facial masks are worn throughout most of the places in South Korea where the virus were easily spread by the infected person, caregivers and hospital personnel. Children all over the place where asked by their parents to wear one in school and elsewhere. It's so funny because the protective facial masks were not only worn to prevent but became a fashion among who wore it. Facial masks sold now have various designs and is a trend. Teenagers wear the mask which are adorned with various cartoon characters and cute designs and still sport their fashion.
Who would've thought prevention can likewise be as fun and trendy? While some suggests that the wearing of the facial mask bought over the counter aren't as safe as wearing a well fitted mask, another type was introduced to be tried which is the N-95 respirator. This mask has a fitted face-piece that prevents the users from catching the virus from inhaling droplets that may carry the virus.
It's always best to stay clean to be apart from possible sickness whether it be colds or from viral diseases. Simple steps in cleaning may be of big advantage like washing of hands always or carrying hand sanitizers like gels and 70% alcohol to kill germs and bacteria. Avoid being in close contact or distance with anyone suspected to carry viruses.
On the same report, it says it may be more psychological than logical. People are bothered about their safety and the first thing that comes into their mind is how to prevent it so they immediately buy facemasks at a high number and not to mention, trendy ones too. Logically, some would use when they think or feel there is a threat on their safety already. That is the only time they consider buying a facemask. Others have learned and practice safety all the time and carry with them facemasks.
Good news for the suppliers of facemasks. As for the trendy ones, looks like it's going to be a bigger market for them as it has already been a practice to carry and use trendy masks for fashion. Time report says it has already been a trending accessory for residents in South Korea.
