With this in mind, Valtteri Bottas is confident to perform well this weekend, as this is the track where he scored his first podium of his Formula One career. Coming from his first podium finish in Canada this year, Valtteri wants to continue his rhythm.

Qualifying on the front row of the grid will be the key as Martini Williams Racing secured a 1-2 during the Qualifying last season and eventually finished 3rd and 4th behind the Mercedes AMG Petronas duo during the race.

Valterri Bottas anticipated this race on the calendar, as he is big fan of Red Bull Ring, where he believed their package was strong here like last season.

Coming from a podium finish in the last race, the Fin is adamant on the revised FW37 this weekend. He believes with the new upgrades will allow them to challenge Ferrari during the race on Sunday.  Also, last season marked the strongest race on the calendar for both Martini Williams driver s.

With its long straights and a mixture of slow and high speed corners, the circuit requires good straight line speed and strong aero efficiency from the car - areas Red Bull Ring capitalized very well last year. But the million dollar question is how well the present car will perform?

Surely, Mercedes AMG Petronas is a bit more ahead this year than last season. Qualifying on the front of the grid will be tough at this moment, but Williams duo aren't losing the possibility to get near or beat the Mercedes.

On this Friday practice, Martini Williams Racing will have some updates and try many things on the car to see if it will have some improvements they can use during the race. With all of these updates, both of the drivers are hoping they are really close to Ferrari this time.
