The Indiana Pacers is said to be the perfect destination to the Brooklyn Nets' young big man Mason Plumlee, who is reportedly being shopped around by the team prior to the upcoming NBA Draft on Thursday, as per CBS Sports.

The report said that the Nets could ask for the Pacers 11th pick in the draft in exchange for the 6-foot-11 Team U.S.A. center.
The Nets are allegedly in the process of recovering from the bad super-team decisions the management have made in the past, and one of the ways they are trying to do it is by selecting quality players in the draft.
Yes, the team has a first-round pick on Thursday, but unfortunately it was only the 29th. They would like to have a chance to acquire another one or just move up a few notches, and the Pacers' no. 11 selection is one of the potentially ideal picks that they could acquire.
However, Brooklyn may have to give up one of their prized big men in order to accomplish that.
Fansided suggested that the Pacers should agree on the deal with Plumlee. Right now, he is actually one of the up-and-coming stars at his position, and it is something that never comes too often in the league.
The center-forward could spell inconsistent starter Roy Hibbert or start alongside him in exchange for the aging David West. He could also come off the bench for West at power forward as he can be considered an upgrade over undersized forward Luis Scola.
Larry Bird and company could really gain a lot from this deal, especially if no one had particularly piqued their interest in the draft.
Bleacher Report argued that dealing Plumlee away would make sense. While the former Duke standout is still entering his prime at 25 years of age, he proved to be ineffective for the Nets during the last offseason.
On the whole, it is still unclear whether Brooklyn is doing the right decision of intending to trade Plumlee as their starting center Brook Lopez is also in danger of leaving town during the free agency period. If the Nets could secure Lopez's commitment, then shipping Plumlee for a quality rookie should be one of the best moves to revive their struggling franchise.
If not, then it may end up being another bad decision again, especially if ever they did not get the player they hoped for with Indiana's pick.
