Good news gaming fans as new updates for "Grand Theft Auto 6" have been revealed regarding a rumored launch date and a new protagonist in the sequel.
According to previous report from The Latino Post, "Grand Theft Auto 6" will arrived at 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. It was noted that this is the "GTA 6" launch date at the "earliest time" that Rockstar Games has planned, but there could be several updates prior to the game's availability.

However, Ordoh.com (formerly The Fuse Joplin) reportedly claimed that "Grand Theft Auto 6" could launch sometime between 2018 and 2020. This could make sense since development of "GTA 6" could take a long time, given that Rockstar Games will have to pitch in a load full of ideas for the game's storyline, concepts, features etc.
The website further adds that a female character could be added in "GTA 6" as Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser first teased this possibilty last year.
"In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character? Of course," Houser said. " We just haven'y found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things we always think about."
Rockstar Games President Leslie Benzies has already stated to the gaming fans that they will use their long term plans in the development fot "Grand Theft Auto 6."
Aside from the female lead, Franchise Herald reported that there is a new male lead joining "GTA 6" and it is rumored that "The Notebook" and "Gangster Squad" star Ryan Gosling will play the male protagonist within the game.
"GTA 6" could be set on "Vice City" during 1980's and the sequel could be adapted to Gosling's movie "Drive," further hinting his participation within the game and a bit of irony since the movie was inspired by "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City."
However, several gaming fans are worried since the adaptation from movie to games and vice versa could result in a linear and a restricted scoop in the game's plot and features.
Master Herald reportedly claimed that Rockstar will use the whole United States of America as whole setting for "Grand Theft Auto 6," while Vine Report wrote that four locations are rumored to be used within the game such as Portland, Chicago, Texas and London.
Lastly, there would be new game features for "GTA 6" as players can now cuztomize the main character prior to the start of the game, and they can explore more areas by playing missions like robbing banks, joining the police force and many more.
Gaming fans have made a request to Rockstar Games that they should bring back the 1970's vibe in "Grand Theft Auto 6" because it best represents the mafia, gangs, and corruption that the game stands for, GTA6GrandTheftAuto.com wrote.
Benzies stated before in an interview with IGN that they have 45 years' worth of ideas that they wanted to do for "GTA 6," and no matter the outcome will be, they still have plenty more ideas left to choose from.
Gaming fans will just have to wait from more details and news about "Grand Theft Auto 6" before its launch date set at 2018.
