Gamesided reported that Atlus just streamed an English trailer for "Persona 5" at the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Basically the new trailer for "Persona 5" is actually the same Japanese trailer shown last year. Gamers are already aware of the "Persona 5's" game plot details as they will assume the role of a sophomore student at the Shujin Academy and it will feature a "big city life" feel as they live out there lives like a normal high school student such as taking classes, gaining new friends, partying etc., but at night, the protagonist takes on the identity of a "Phantom thief" and perform several acts like heist and fighting shadows. He is accompanied by two friends from school and a talking cat who so far has an unknown role besides being the game's mascot.
HardcoreGamer reported that "Persona 5" will be released this year for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles in Japan and in North America; however, You Health reportedly claimed that Atlus will likely launch "Persona 5" in the month of October or December 2015, courtesy of Atlus parent company Sega Sammy.
The website further adds that "Persona 5's" release date was evident at it was place in Sega Sammy's list of games for the fiscal year which includes "Alien Isolation," "Stella Glow," "Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai Delux" and "Persona 4: Dancing All Night."
A previous report from Gematsu revealed that players will experience new gameplay mechanics from "Persona 5" as player's will have new social link system called "Cooperation," a stealth style gameplay called "Sneak" and returning features like "Lesson" and "All-Out-Attack."
The website further adds that players can now perform multiple magical attacks, explore new areas in both day and night and different new weapons, as gamers can switch from swords to guns and vice versa. The characters earn their personas through a process called the "Awakening" as they are engulfed in blue flames and their personalities are drastically changed as well. The protagonist's first persona is named "Arsene" and he is described as having black wings and wears a red ouftit.
Gamers will be expecting "Persona 5" on both October or Dececember this year for the PS3 and PS4 consoles.
