No bad blood after all. After a well-mannered letter from Taylor Swift, Apple decided to change their three-month no payment policy on artists.
The former country crooner took to Tumblr and posted an open letter addressed to Apple expressing her sentiments of a particular policy wherein the company will not be paying any of the artists during the free three-month period of their new streaming app, Apple Music. In the letter, Swift said she is not ranting for her sake, but for the sake of those artists who are just starting and are relying on those royalties to survive, saying that she is speaking up for other artists who respect Apple.

The "Bad Blood" singer did not diss Apple Music, but she did threaten that she will pull out her album "1989" from the upcoming music streaming app. Entertainment Weekly reported that Swift has nothing but love for Apple, but she is against not paying artists royalties for streams.
Swift then put the final nail on the coffin by saying that no one is asking them to provide free iPhones, so why should they provide their music for free. The letter ultimately got the attention of the tech giant, with TIME reporting that with just a day after Swift's letter, the company is reversing the said policy and will pay the artists what they are due. Apple exec Eddy Cue went to Twitter and said that Apple will be paying the artists during the three-month free trial of Apple Music, showing a little heart amid all the profit-rearing capacity.
Overall, Taylor Swift was out not to shame Apple or to put herself in the middle of the limelight, but rather to show the world the ugliness that has become a norm in the music industry. To put her name on the line for other people just shows how good-hearted Taylor Swift is, and the good fortune she is experiencing right now is obviously hers to enjoy.
