Come summer this year, Google will introduce its Google Virtual Reality Cameras to a select base of users. The company has already started seeking applications from interested users through an online form, where the best responses will be shortlisted and given the opportunity.
According to Tech Crunch, search engine giant Google has announced that it will be giving its virtual reality video camera for testing across a selected group of users. Called Jump, this video camera is the company's latest foray into the domain of virtual reality. As of now, the testing for the product is scheduled to begin in the summer season this year.

Google is inviting applications from interested candidates who want to be a part of this test group. The applicants have to fill a two page form. The details to be included in the form are information about the background of the applicant and the way in which they plan to use the device. There is no other additional criterion that needs to be taken care of in order to be eligible to fill the form. This increases the chances of those who are not from the technology background but still interested in the device.
However, the form is not as simple as it sounds. Google has said that the responses have to be unique and highlight something interesting or impressive, in order to be shortlisted by them. To put it simply, users have to ensure they send whacky responses to impress the management. The form can be submitted online itself.
Another report on Tech Times says that the device was originally unveiled in 2009, and ever since, the gadget freaks have been awaiting its formal launch very eagerly. Given this background, the makers are hoping to be flooded with applications from those who want to be included in the test group.
The camera includes several awesome features which also include 16 GoPro Hero4 cameras for a sick 360-degree panoramic video. Additionally, the device comes with a tripod stand that increases user convenience by adding more options to its overall list of operations.
