The new Apple Watch will be less dependent on iPhone and will also be equipped with an onboard video camera, which will be sitting on top part of the watch. This will help the users to navigate Face Time directly from the distance of their wrists, The VC Post reported. This device is said to be totally independent of its smart phone counterpart.

The elements like email, messaging and the weather updates will be designed to work with the Wi-Fi connection, instead of relying on the user's nearest Apple device like the iPhone or/and the iPad. There is also no need to sync the watch with any form of smart device. This is an apparent bid by Apple to target the non-iPhone users into trying out the Apple watch and make a dent in the Android wearables market as well.

Apple is also planning to make the next version of Apple Watch equipped with a parallel battery span as a recent market survey revealed that customers prefer to charge this device for the whole night. This technique will make sure that the device does not get overcharged over the night. Overcharging electrical devices may lead to a over-heating, which in turn may affect the device's hardware. Hence, this new technique is really beneficial in extending the longevity of the device.

The watch will also sport a built in video camera which will make Face Time easier for the users. An over due upgrade for the watches' firmware will allow the users to connect to Face Time via audio and video. The watch will also come with a luxurious wrist frame with conventional features such as alarms, timer, world clock and a stop watch, Paste Magazine reported. The said device may also be launched in some other colors as well, said reports.

The next version of Apple Watch is expected to hit the market somewhere in 2016 while the price of Apple Watch 2 is not yet known but it is expected to be in the same price margin of its predecessor.
