Learning from the release trends from the previous phones under Nexus, it can be seen that there is always a slight delay in the official release of a Nexus device, as per Gunshy Assassin.

For example, Nexus 6 was slated to release in the month of October but was only available in December. But the buzz about Nexus 5 2015 is entirely different as it is much bigger than any other Nexus device till date. Many experts are anticipating that this device will be renamed into a much cooler name, which will of course not be revealed before its release.

During the I/O 2015, it was revealed that the early build of the new Nexus 5 is in the hands of developers now and the operating system of this device will feature many interesting things. It is rumored to sport a new mobile pay app which will be really efficient in making online transactions.

It is also rumored that Nexus 5 2015 will be getting the latest operating system (Android M) right away, without the need of any manual upgrading, The Digital Trends reported. With Android M, the device will be able to support USB Type C along with a reversible connector. As Android M will launch in fall 2015, it is expected that Google Nexus 5 2015 release date will be by November.

It is expected to be equipped with a 5.2-inch HD screen and a 13 mp rear camera, along with an octa core processor. It will also sport 3 GB of RAM and a Kirin processor. The phone is also anticipated to be released in a reasonable price range, similar to the initial cost of the first generation Nexus 5 device.
