But there are rumors that Motorola is planning to release two versions of Moto X 2015, so it is pretty unlikely that both of them will be released together. The second one might be released in September, as per news reports by The Latin Post.

The device is rumored to be equipped with a 5.2-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with a pixel resolution of 2560 x 1440. It will also sport an 8 core Snapdragon processor with 4 GB of RAM. It will be available in 32 GB and 64 GB storage options along with a micro SD slot which can be used to further expand the memory.

Moto X 2015 is also rumored to be equipped with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and then will be upgraded to Android M on its launch. It will feature a 16 mega pixel rear camera, a 5 mega pixel front snapper and a battery capacity of 3280 mAh.

It is rumored to be released in two variants - a 5.2 inch Moto X and a 5.7 inch Moto X. The prices are yet to come out.

Since Apple started the recent trend of launching phones in big sizes along with the normal size variant, it seems that Motorola is following the trend as well. Samsung is also expected to come out with a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus in the near future, which will also showcase the same trend.
