The Moto X 2015 is one of the most anticipated smartphones which is expected to be released in August. Many leaked images of the device were revealed earlier this week which showed a great deal about Moto X 2015.

The second generation of Moto X was well received in the market when it was released in September 2014 while it seems like the Moto X 2015 might hit the market even sooner than September 2015, Gotta Be Mobile reported. It seems likely that this phone will hit the market in the month of August this year, similar to the release month of the original Moto X.

The leaked images showcased really impressive features in the upcoming device. But there are rumors that Motorola is planning to release two versions of Moto X 2015, so it is pretty unlikely that both of them will be released together. The second one might be released in September, as per news reports by The Latin Post.

The leaked images showed a very impressive design, which is sure to appeal to the masses. It is also packed with the latest features and the best hardware, which makes it a great smartphone, said reports.

The device is rumored to be equipped with a 5.2-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with a pixel resolution of 2560 x 1440. It will also sport an 8 core Snapdragon processor with 4 GB of RAM. It will be available in 32 GB and 64 GB storage options along with a micro SD slot which can be used to further expand the memory.

Moto X 2015 is also rumored to be equipped with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and then will be upgraded to Android M on its launch. It will feature a 16 mega pixel rear camera, a 5 mega pixel front snapper and a battery capacity of 3280 mAh.

It is rumored to be released in two variants - a 5.2 inch Moto X and a 5.7 inch Moto X. The prices are yet to come out.

Since Apple started the recent trend of launching phones in big sizes along with the normal size variant, it seems that Motorola is following the trend as well. Samsung is also expected to come out with a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus in the near future, which will also showcase the same trend.
