The website further adds that "Resident Evil 7" will have three playable characters and it is speculated that they are all female. Two of the characters will be new to "Resident Evil 7," making it their debut in the series, while the third female lead is rumored to be Alice from the "Resident Evil" film franchise.

WhatCulture reportedly claimed that Barry Burton and Claire Redfield will likely join "Resident Evil 7" cast, and it is hinted that Albert Wesker or another Wesker clone could be a new antagonist in the game.

There have been several news and rumors about "Resident Evil 7" making its debut at the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo this month. The online digital analyst group Superdata speculated that "Residern Evil 7" will make an appearance this year. Sadly, the game did appear during E3 2015, but Capcom showcased "Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster" for to the gaming fans in the said event.

Aside from the rumored launch date and characters, Motoring Crunch reported that "Resident Evil 7" will go back to its traditional "old school" gameplay of clunky controls, limited items and ammos, and third person style.

The website further adds that the setting of "Resident Evil 7" will take place from Raccoon City as Capcom will likely refer back to a few backstories to keep the game's plot fresh without deviating much from its roots, The Latinos Post noted.

It is reported that a simpler virus will be used within "Resident Evil 7" as Capcom wanted to focus more on the gameplay instead of the storyline, since the latter has never been strong factor within the "Resident Evil" game series. However, Capcom might not inlclude a virus in the game and will likely focus on the atmosphere within the sequel, and they will bring back cinematic camera angles to bring back the horror and fear that was present in the series.

Capcom rignt now is focusing more on "Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster" for the PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as for the PC platform, as the game will launch in the early 2016.

Gaming fans will just have to wait for Capcom to dish out new game details, updates and a possible trailer for "Resident Evil 7" very soon.
