The Gospel Herald reported that NetherRealm Studios might be working on a new "Kombat Pack 2" for "Mortal Kombat X" that will showcase several new playable characters. NetherRealm Studios has already presented four DLC characters within "Mortal Kombat X" such as Tanya, Tremor, Jason Voorhees and the Predator. Now NetherRealm Studios looks to make an impact once again by revealing five new "Kombatants" within the game.

Youth Health reported that one of the these characters in the Kombat Pack 2 is the Edenian ninja/demigod Rain, while "Mortal Kombat" creator Ed Boon teased on his Twitter page that Meat is joining the list of DLC characters within the game.

Game Zone further adds that the queen of Edenia Sindel and the Tarkatan warrior Baraka could also be added in game's Kombat Pack 2. Aside from the Kombat Pack 2, NetherRealm has also revealed the Predator pack for "Mortal Kombat X" along with new Brutality finishing moves. Gamerant reported that Boon posted a photo on Twitter - a screenshot of what the Terminitor looks like in "Mortal Kombat X" along with Jax Briggs' new Carl Weathers attire.


The website adds that there are also new costumes for Johnny Cage and Scorpion in the "Predator" DLC pack. Johnny Cage sports an attire similar to what Arnold Schwarzeneggar looked like in the "Predator" movie. Scorpion, on the other hand, will receive his "Klassic" attire and an infrared costume.

Lastly, Eurogamer reported that "Mortal Kombat X" will be receiving new Brutality finishing moves that can be applied in Quan Chi's fortress, Kuatan Jungle and the Kove.

YouTube users C88 MiXxFiT and Bruno Guedes were able to post videos showcasing these new Brutalities.




"Mortal Kombat X" is currently available in stores for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox One 360 was rumored to launch by the end of the month.
