After weeks of waiting, producers of the international film "Bounty Hunters" have finally found their lead female star. Chinese actress Yang Mi has been confirmed to star opposite Korean Hallyu star, Lee Min Ho. Who exactly is Yang Mi?

Reports of Yang Mi's casting in "Bounty Hunters" after a Weibo post circulated online. It was Mango Entertainment who had confirmed the report.

"Yang Mi has been officially confirmed as the actress, in the film which has more than $200 million invested," reads the report by KDramaStars. Another reports adds, "Yang Mi has been confirmed as the heroine and it has been revealed that the film will begin shooting in August."

"Bounty Hunters" will be filmed across Asia, particularly in Malaysia, Korea, Thailand, and China. Pegasus Motion Pictures, Harmonious Entertainment, and Starhaus Entertainment are at the helm of the production.

Aside from Yang Mi and Min Ho, the other star confirmed to be in the film is Wallace Chung. Both had already been introduced during a press conference at the Shanghai International Film Festival. It was during this time that Min Ho claimed to be a big fan of Jackie Chan.

"I like Jackie Chan. I grew up watching him," stated Min Ho in a report by KDrama Stars.

Karen Ng had also been reported to be the other female lead in "Bounty Hunters." Ng is said to be quite excited for the part as she'd be able to go to different locations for the film and learn more of other cultures.

Prior to Yang Mi's casting, rumors claimed that Angelababy was to be cast in the film. However, the Hong Kong actress had already been nabbed for another international film, which is "Independence Day II."

For those who have only heard of Yang Mi, the actress has a slew of series of which include "The Legend of Chinese Zodiac" and "Yi Jia Ren." Yang Mi's famed films on the other hand include "The Breakup Guru," "Bringing Joy Home," and "Saving Mother Robot."

Mi recently made an appearance for the red carpet of the 65^th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The Chinese actress is 28-years of age and is also noted for her singing.
