The emergence of smartphones in the tech market has not been without the basic problem of battery life. Apple, HTC, LG and Sony, even Samsung had the problem of shorter battery life as compared to the old phones. According to The Next Digit, Samsung has recently unveiled its invention, claiming longer battery life with the use of silicone anode material on a Lithium-ion Battery to develop its density and longer performance. The team claims that the invention will double the life of your smartphone battery in one charging.

If a regular smartphone lasts around 12 hours, the new Samsung innovation will allow you to enjoy your phone, courtesy of its longer battery life for 24 hours. Along with the innovation, by creating a denser battery, is the idea of a smartphone that will be designed on a slimmer appearance. While the innovation is set to be tested and used, clients cannot expect the battery to be available sooner in the market. In fact, it may reportedly take another two years to fully see them operating in Samsung's markets and their newly launched phones.
"The suggestion of a two dimensional layered supply of grapheme can serve as a mediator in applying silicon anodes to the new battery innovation of Samsung." The significance of the new battery innovation came at the right time when a similar tech news, the Telegraph, recently reported a new invention that allows a laptop or smartphone battery to be fully charged in just a minute. Standford University recently introduced the creation of a cheap but efficient way of charging your batteries without spending hours on it.
In the 90's, this technology has frequently been observed by tech innovators, but significant inventions and the development never occurred. Today, the tech world is capitalizing on these properties to develop new ways of making life better through the use of technologically enhanced basic needs such as communication lines and the internet.
No other smartphone provider had claimed such innovation, and it will not be a surprised if one them will follow suit on the same line of marketing strategy.
