Asus has been a brand name for itself when it comes to the wearable market with the launch of the ZenWatch last year. ZenWatch is one of the most remarkable pieces of technology on Android Wear that can be comparable with the most famous smartwatches like LG G Watch and Samsung's Gear Live.

Compare Wear, on the other hand, reported that the VivoWatch, which was released in April at $150, is almost the same with its sibling and will likely be able to have its own followers, just like the $200 ZenWatch. The question is, which device should the consumers get?

Digital Trends reported that the ZenWatch takes a different direction from LG and Motorola's circular route to admirable design. This makes the ZenWatch the best-looking Android Wear smartwatches in the market as Asus opted to have a squarish display, with the likes of Apple Watch. Although, it is not a full-blown circle, but not straight-edged square either, the brushed steel bezel rounds its corners with ends in square-edges while finishing the extraordinary look is a tan, comfortable soft leather strap.

Compare Wear said that the Vivo Watch looks like its sibling device, although the bezel is thinner than the ZenWatch, plus also has a square-circle display. Asus says it has an average 22 mm changeable strap that appears to be made from some sort of black synthetic material. It's not pure leather like ZenWatch's strap, although, users can change it easily for something else if they wish to, according to Digital Trends. At the same time, the strap of the ZenWatch is changeable too! The only little faulty on the Vivo Watch is the understated Asus logo in the center of the top screen.

Apparently, the Asus Vivo Watch and Asus ZenWatch are two varied smartwatches with very different functions. The ZenWatch, with its fine steel-and-leather design is an Android Wear smartwatch that users can wear while running errands, regular days at the office, or at night for a swankier event or an office party, while Vivo Watch is more of a wellness tracker than a multi-function gadget.

The ZenWatch is not really famous for accuracy in tracking basic fitness metrics, and it is where the Vivo Watch comes in.
