Trusted Reviews believes that PS4 has surpassed the 22.3 million marked of global sales, while Microsoft has sold 10 million Xbox One consoles last year, which is way behind the figures of PS4 although the company says current sales are tremendously up. Just recently, it is reported that Xbox One have sold 15 million units to date.

Trusted Reviews said, Sony is now getting ready for a virtual reality and streaming future, also with "Oculus Rift-rival Project " "Morpheus,"  PlayStation Now and PlayStation TV. Furthermore, it's also preparing "Uncharted 4" for its 2016 release date and modifying console filled with feature firmware updates.

Digital Trends says, both PS4 and Xbox One give more than 100 unique titles, each with their own exclusivities.  Even though PS4 touts significant titles like "Bloodborne" and "The Last of Us: Remastered,"  the Xbox One tips it scales slightly in Microsoft's favor with games like "Forza Horizon 2,"  "Sunset Overdrive"  and "Titanfall." On the other hand, the PS4 also boost a greater choice of independent titles such as "Abzu," "Resogun," " Hotline Miami 2,"  which makes it more appealing to those who choose unique storytelling, retro-based games that might not gather the similar blockbuster appeals as titles in the "Call of Duty" series. So which games/game consoles are better when it comes to titles that gamers like to play?

IDigitaltimes reported that "Spectra" will be coming to Microsoft Xbox One on July 10, which is an indie racing game that looks like an old school 3D games from the 1980's. Everything is made of wireframe models and it features music from chip-tunes artist Chipzel. The "World of Tanks" is another game coming to Xbox One on July 28, which has been a big hit in Xbox 360 and PC while Sony will be releasing "God of War III: Remastered," on July 14. Although this is just a remaster of the game, it will be featuring a graphical touch-up, as well as a photo mode. Then "Godzilla," will also follow on July 17, created by Bandai Namco for PS4 and PS3.

Taking everything into consideration, both consoles offer a lot, but Sony PS4 has the edge. Xbox One may be quite better for non-gaming content and applications. So, which is the better gaming machine? The answer is Sony PlayStation 4.
